Alcoholic 'soft drinks'?
From The Star Online, January 31st, 2008
Kids being sold alcoholic ‘soft drinks’
PENANG: Alcoholic “soft drinks,” some with alcohol content as high as 5%, are being sold to children in supermarkets and bakeries.
The Consumers Association of Penang (CAP) said that the alcohol content in these drinks was higher than that in beer.
CAP president S.M. Mohamed Idris said the law prohibited the sale of alcoholic beverages to people below the age of 18.
He said CAP had received complaints from parents who said their children were consuming these drinks, adding that these drinks had also become popular among partygoers.
He said CAP had first exposed the hazards of a certain trendy intoxicating beverage in August 1997.
“Now after 11 years, the same type of drinks, designed and packaged like soft drinks, are once again invading the Malaysian market,” he said in a statement Thursday.
A CAP survey showed that members of the public might consume the beverage without knowing that they contained a high level of alcohol due to misleading labels with names like tropical fruit, ice lemon tea and orange juice, and with pictures of fruits.
He claimed that the alcohol content was printed in small letters that could hardly be seen.
Mohamed Idris urged the authorities to impose an immediate ban on the sale of such drinks.
I wonder, could this be what this article is talking about? Because there was this one day, I was reading a local english newspaper and there's the ad about this drink - and I didn't really notice that it was actually alcoholic. Because it really looks like just another ordinary soft drinks. The color of the can is really typical and the most natural one. Green and Red
Just be very careful, okay.

Killing Me Softly
Detoxification Fruit Diet Plan
In addition, I am to drink plain, warm water - maximum 3 litres each day.
And... THAT WOULD BE ALL. Fruit and plain water.
Please pray that I will have the 'strength' to do this.

1. That's it, man! I think I'm finished. Totally finished.
2. 500 ml of warm water maximum at night? MANA CUKUP!
3. I deliberately did not list down the whole instruction here, for safety reasons. If, by accident, any of my parents 'found' this blog, then he or she would not possess the whole information of my so-called assignment. Hence, tak boleh suka-suka nak 'tutor' aku.
4. Darn I forgot to ask, whether or not sleeping from 9pm till 6 or 7 am will increase my weight. The best way to prevent one's self from eating or drinking is to sleep hehehehe.

Children Learn What They Live
Yes, this is the first time he will be away from home for a long time. But by nature, he is cool and independent for a youngest sibling. And he is the first from our family to go to the training. Nobody from our family, no cousins from both sides have ever been called up. And I told him he was lucky, although he didn't really agree with me.
But I have read about the modules of the National Service and I found them very good and useful.. So, Best Wishes, bro, we are going to miss you. Be safe. And hope you will have your CNY break.

He Wasn't Man Enough For Me
Toni Braxton
Who do you think I am?
Don't you know that he was my man?
But I chose to let him go
So why do you act like I still care about him?
Looking at me like I'm hurt
When I'm the one who said I didn't want it to work
Don't you forget I had him first?
Whatcha' thinking
Stop blaming me
He wasn't man enough for me
If you don't know now is your chance
I already had your man
Do you wonder just where he's been
And I'd be worried about him
Now it's time you know the truth
I think he's just the man for you
(chorus)What are you thinking
Do you know about us back then
Do you know I dumped your husband
Girlfriend
I'm not thinking 'bout him
But you married him :)
Do you know I made him leave
Do you know he begged to stay, with me (with me)
He wasn't man enough for me
Didn't he tell you the truth
If not, then why don't you ask him
And maybe you could be more into him
Instead of worrying 'bout me
And hopefully, you won't find :)
All of the reasons why his love didn't count
And why we couldn't work it out
Whatcha' thinking
Stop blaming me
He wasn't man enough for me
If you don't know now, now is your chance
See, I already had your man
Do you wonder just where he's been
And I'd be worried about him
Now it's time you know the truth
I think he's just the man for you
What are you thinking
Do you know about us back then
Do you know I dumped your husband
Girlfriend
I'm not thinking 'bout him
But you married him
Do you know I made him leave
Do you know he begged to stay, with me
He wasn't man enough for me
So many reasons why our love is through (yeah)
What makes you think he'll be good to you (no)
It makes no sense'
Cause he will never change
Girl you better recognize the game oooohhhh- yeah
What are you thinking (why did he ask me to come back oh)
Do you know about us back then (beggin' me to stay)
Do you know I dumped your husband
Girlfriend
I'm not thinking 'bout him
But you married him
Do you know I made him leave
Do you know he begged to stay, with me
He wasn't man enough for me

Inspirational Quotes
~ Jesse Jackson ~
The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe. If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened. But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself.

But please stop playing games.. because you do not know that i MAJOR in playing games... you may be way older, but I am way, way wiser.. FACE IT!
See, I know that it only took a little persuasion to put you right on track.
Just that, don't boast too much.. because where I am concerned, he who boasts will definitely eat his words back later.. *wink*
But still.. The Best Is The One. I dare to say this because I know you cannot read this, haha!
Wish I could publish your photo here.. but.. noooooo... too many prying eyes... so NO!
Yeah I dedicate the song Sometimes When We Touch To You, though.

Bits and Pieces
Saturday's project was a success with the exception of the cupcake toppings. The cake, the marble cake was mega-delicious. My SIL is definitely an ace in pastries. I told her repeatedly that she should go commercial but she said it's only for families. Well, maybe she should do the specials for our lakeside *wink* The toppings, well first of all I screwed up the syrup, or rather the syrup tu memang suwey. Second attempt was no better either, so we went ahead anyway.
We did not have success on doing the icing decoration. After all it was our first attempt, but it was not that bad actually. My Mom and Sis said it was beautifully decorated. I will post the photos here later on, see for yourself. Later nanti nak cuba lagi, insya Allah we will do much better the next time.
