Me... lately Part 1

Early Sunday morning i received a text from my boss saying that there'll be a meeting the first thing Monday morning. at 8.30 am, with the '8.30' underlined.

So there I was, arriving at the office as early as 10 past 8. Yalah, my house is the nearest so nobody from the office was around yet. Hm, so I went to the nearby gerai to have my fav bfast. None other that nasi lemak separuh, telur goreng and WITHOUT ikan bilis and kacang, and nescafe ais.

Dance : Another Passion Of Mine

Yes, it is - another passion of mine.

Memang suka sangat. Sometimes my niece pun I ajak layan dancing. And I must say, she has a very good sense where dancing is concerned. Plus the fact that her body is really that of a dancer. And quite a fast learner where dancing steps are concerned.

Entah macam mana, terjumpa plak this song, Flashdance. Dulu-dulu suka juga tengok this movie, and I really love this song. Tapi tak la suka sangat dengan the kind of dance dalam movie ni. Suka tengok je. My fav kind of dance? Hehehe Slow Dance (right, Hon?) and cha-cha-cha. Hehehehe.

Occupied

I am quite occupied with a few things. Tomorrow I have to do something and later go for another treatment. And I hate Hot Blanket. Okay? Guess I will update this blog tomorrow.

You remember Zamperla, right? The above photo is another thing that has been on my mind lately. If you want to see more, just spend One Evening in Tanjung Puteri.

Haven't been doing much updates lately. But am seriously considering to try blog advertising. Many thanks to Tana for her explanations and guidance in this matter. I still have many things to learn, boleh kan, Tana?

More Treatment

Yeah I went for some body treatment on Thursday.

Lavender Steambath

Ni memula datang aje (everytime), first thing lepas tukar baju, ambik weight, terus masuk ke steambath. The main purpose is to open up pores and unstress muscles before any treatment is done. Stay dalam steam room tu for 20 minutes everytime. But this time, sebab nak buat toxin management lagi, so kena buat dua kali. First one, 20 minutes lepas tu keluar, consultant apply scrubs yang ada dead sea salts, kemudian masuk lagi steam room for another 10 minutes. Ada masa okay, ada masa rasa macam kena masak pun ya hehehe. Tapi bila keluar tu perasan kejap la sebab skin cam pinkish allover gitu hehehe.

Detox Massage

Ni second time buat detox massage. The first time was during my last visit, end of January. Masa tu my own consultant buat, but this time another consultant buatkan. Memang diaorang ada kata detox massage ni sakit sikit sebab dia tekan your lymph nodes. Masa first time tu tahan lagi. This time memang rasa sakit sebab dia tekan kuat. I tak tahan bab inner thigh tu, sebab memang sakit. Tempat lain, kat kaki, tangan, belakang badan, tummy, semua tak kisah. Inner thigh memang sakit. Tapi tahan je la, tak pernah menjerit ke apa. Nama pun Jedi Knight, kan...Kata consultant tu, ada orang siap menjerit lepas tu terus duduk hehehe. Kelakar lak dengar.

Hot Blanket
Lepas detox massage, badan kena bungkus dengan plastic and towel, and covered with a hot blanket for 20 minutes. Dalam banyak-banyak treatment, inilah yang paling I tak suka sekali. Sudahlah panas, tak boleh bergerak, sebab dah kena bungkus. And then my body's sweating like hell, lepas tu rasa gatal-gatal. Sebab masa massage tu dia guna some scrubs, so rasa berpasir tu yang buat gatal sangat. Cannot scratch, itu yang geram, sebab tangan tak boleh gerak. Consultant akan masuk every now and then to check, and to wipe my face. Selalunya 5 minutes sebelum habis consultant akan masuk and beritahu ada 5 minutes more. Itulah yang paling lama I rasa nak habis. Sakitnya hati, but what to do..

Shower
Lepas habis hot blanket treatment tu, consultant tak kasi bangun terus. Dia suruh rehat dulu kemudian duduk, baru boleh berdiri. Takut pening and headrush sebab panas kan. Tapi so far I okay aje. Jedi Knight lah katakan.. Paling best lepas tu masuk shower, hot or cold it's up to you. But for me, always cold. Tak tahan, dah la steambath, then hot blanket. Panasnya tak terkata. Selalunya I berlama-lama sikit la hehehe. Dah siap kena keringkan rambut betul-betul sebab nak ambil weight sekali lagi. Masa ni taulah berapa dah kurang.

Slimming Machine

This time around, dia gunakan machine to break fat dekat thigh, tummy and arm. Last time tu machine yang press lymph nodes, tak kuat sangat. Yang ni memang rasa drilling gitu. Sama dengan slimming machine yang specific for tummy. Everytime, dia akan guna different machine with different purposes. Tapi before machine treatment ni buat detox massage lagi. And needless to say, it was OUCH! again.

That's all for Thursday. Masa nak balik, as usual dia beri minum calcium drink, macam quaker oat tapi chocolate flavor. And I dapat slimming coffee for free again sebab banyak lose weight. Yahoo!

A Self-Observatory Note by Spec

Until today, I have literally stopped eating :

1. Egg - in whatever form.
2. Chocolate.

and reduced the quantity and frequency of eating rice, and drinking Nescafe (my favourite).


In actual fact, I do not believe in doing something drastically to achieve desired results. I am losing weight. But I want to lose it for good. So I must do it right. That's all for now, I guess. Will update more later. I am gonna have to undergo another treatment soon and am really looking forward to it.

BRAVO!

Demam. Selsema. Huwaaaaaaaa isk isk isk. Mama, mama.. mamm. Isk isk isk. Watery eyes, runny nose. Just what I need when I have sooo many things to do. BRAVO!

Kejam dan Zalim Part II

He called me around 8 pm something just now as I was busy arranging my storybooks in my room. So we were talking about this unfortunate prominent someone who was involved in the "VCD" scandal.

Generally I was in agreement with him, in saying that there are many prominent people out there who did the same thing (or even worse) but this one person has clearly been set up by someone with a motive. He just got very unlucky, that's all.

I said " Yalah, it's something too common. It's like everbody's doing it. Semua orang pun, especially prominent ones, tak kira Malay ke, Chinese ke, Indian ke, mesti ada buat kerja gitu. Clearly, it's so wrong, but he's not alone definitely."

Eh, dia quickly potong cakap I. Dia kata "Well, I have to disagree with you on that.. on saying everybody's doing it...." (he said this in a very indescribably irritating way. Eleh, dia nak kata dia tak macam gitu lah, ces nak promote diri konon. And I, with the speed of light cut him ..)

"Oh yes, you of course lah tidak, I know you tak buat kerja macam tu, because no sane woman would want to sleep with you".

Lepas tu dia gelak-gelak la, konon nak cover. But I know I did make him bleed inside.

PADAN MUKA, siapa suruh tak reti-reti. Nak cakap, cakap ajelah. Tak payahlah nak pancing undi, takde siapa nak vote muka engkau tu (ni dah habis geram lah ni). I wouldn't mind talking to him, tapi for the love of God, please quit trying.

Sorry, man. You're Dead On Arrival.

TV Highlights - An Addition.

Uppppsy! Tambah skit je lagi. Tadi around 11 pm something, I saw this one movie at Channel 702 in my parents' bedroom. Tajuk dia In A Class Of His Own. Regrettably masa I tengok tu dah macam lagi 15 minutes nak habis.. cerita dia macam menarik aje, about a man trying to finish high school. Not sure how it started, tapi lepas ni nak tengok lagi from the beginning. Yay! Another one to be added to my movie list. Hah! As if I am running out of movies to watch plak.. Oh, and I am in the process to 'meracun' my Dad suruh tengok Snakes On A Plane. Tadi pagi masa I tengok he was out with Mom. Ni tadi sengaja la tinggalkan HBO running in their room, sebab that movie was running at 1 am. Kot la dia tengok. Dia rajin juga tengok movies.

For the past few weeks selalunya I watch TV on a regular basis with my siblings - tengok Iris kat TV3. Now that Iris dah habis, kita semua tengah cari cerita apa pula yang best. Not sure that the replacement - Ai 'D' Beijing tu best ke tak. We''ll see.

Note : Later tonight, at 10 pm ada A Model Life With Petra : Model's Diet. Huhuhu janganlah terlupa. Tapi ada rerun the next morning.

Wave's TV Highlights

Just wanna list down the movies that I have watched in the last 30 days. Saja la, since I ni memang antu movie. And I bukan saja tengok cerita yang famous, kekadang cerita lama-lama pun I layan especially yang Investigation and Mystery. Memang minat sangat.

Apa lagi.. hmm tak ingatlah. Oh, Venom, Snakes On A Plane and House Of Wax tu I memang ada vcd nya tapi tak pernah tengok pun. And I have tons of vcds and dvds yang belum sempat ditengok atau seru belum sampai. Yeah the first three tu memang I tak ada vcd or dvd dia. Tapi ada sikit menyesal campur ngeri tengok Rattled and Snakes On A Plane. Because it made me jumpy and extra cautious. Ular beb, tak melilau plak mata aku kan time masuk bilik air or time keluar ke laman. Paling jahat citer Rattled la. Ada one scene tu, memula dia ambik baju dalam laundry basket, sekali dalam tu ada rattlesnake. Then just imagine, dia flush that rattlesnake dalam toilet and then later dia toleh belakang air toilet tu melimpah tetiba that snake keluar sekali Eeewwwwwwwww!

I suka juga old movies, especially those based on Mary Higgin Clark's books like We'll Meet Again, Pretend You Don't See Her, Loves Music Loves To Dance, and some Investigation and Mystery ones like When Strangers Appear, Voice From The Grave. Hallmark pun banyak such movies.

Apart from movies, now I suka tengok A Model Life With Petra (currrent obsession), Nigella's Christmas Kitchen, Jamie's Kitchen, Passport To (any destination), in short Travel and Living is a must. Then, cartoon plak, like I said, Kampung Boy and Thomas. Malay movies pun tengok, but selected few. Martha Stewart ngan Party Planner with David Tutera pun layan.

News and Biz news pun compulsory, also The Exchange on Friday Evening.

Reality show? Well I missed Ladette to Lady, really missed that one. I did watch Sehati Berdansa. I loved to watch Fort Buoyard in BBC when I was in UK. Used to like Fear Factor too. Now tak berapa la.

Okay, nanti sambung lagi.

Kejam dan Zalim?

"Kau memang kejam. Macam Nazi."

Itu kata-kata Red Devil, when I told her about him. Remember, I told you about that guy, who kinda annoyed me to the max?

This is what. He called me on December 31st, afternoon, konon nak wish Happy New Year. I took his call because it looked like he has learnt some lessons lah kan. But he sounded, like, so ill. You know, suara dia slow, cakap pun tak berapa clear. And me, being me, tak buang masa, terus attack.

"You ni kenapa? Sakit?"

"Yalah, sakit. Demam lah. Since yesterday. But I'm like 70-80% recovered."

Cheh, you want to fish for attention, go elsewhere lah ya. Because, Number One, I do not really like you. And you are just another friend. Number Two, kalau I layan, you menjadi-jadi. So...

"Macam mana boleh demam? You kena hujan ke?" (And I said this in a sympathetic tone.. baik je bunyi heheheheh...)

"Yalah.. kena hujan.. teruklah..."

And...

"Hahah... kena hujan pun boleh demam? Malulah sikit, I yang perempuan ni pun tak selembik you (paling teruk pun pening kepala je tapi aku tak cakaplah kat orang tua ni). I rasa you're getting old, that's why."

"Yalah... I dah tua..." (konon buat suara sedih... apa, ingat I kesian?)

Some more...

"Ke you pergi party all night long on Christmas? Hangover?"

"Must be that as well... Haiya teruklah" (Tak putus asa nampaknya.. nak pancing kesian. Hai entah siapalah cikgu yang mengajar dia ni)

"You ni, dah tua macam ni pun nak party all night lagi ke? I yang much younger ni pun taklah gila pergi party like you. Sedarlah you are no longer young like you used to be. Dah tua."

"Yalah.. I ni tua.. anyway just call to wish you Happy New Year. All the best, okay". He said this dengan suara terbatuk-batuk... menunjukkan how much he was in pain, konon-konon-kononnya..

During the whole conversation, I was like, laughing non-stop. He noticed that, apparently for he said "Wah, you betul-betul suka eh, I sakit. You ketawa saja eh?".

"Eh, mestilah suka... selalu you sound so alive and you know, so okay. So when you sound so weak, mestilah I suka." And I continued laughing....

"Yalah, yalah. So okay, you take care..."

"Wait, wait. Nak letak dah ke? Tell me, malam ni you pergi mana nak celebrate New Year?" (and after this I ketawakan dia lagi banyak-banyak-banyak.

"Yalah, ketawalah.." he said.

"Okay call me back whenever you are not feeling well. Nanti boleh I ketawa lagi. Ingat tu, when you're not feeling well. Not when you are feeling better. Okay? Happy New Year. Bye."

So that was that. Remember I said, I could be cruel and I could be mean. Itu pun sikit saja tu. Well, siapa suruh buat tak faham bahasa.

Yes, I boleh jadi kejam dan zalim when the need arises. For very good reasons. And in this case, I do not want to encourage him further. For his own good juga. Hai tak payahlah nak fishing with kindness and sweet words. Like my Jedi Master said, DULY NOTED. Sorry.

yeah, still on my Mr. Bond... this song is part of the soundtrack for The Living Daylights. It is played at the very last part, bila cerita dah habis. I like this one, tapi.. hehehe sekali dengar macam kelakar pun ada.. alahai so unfortunate and so, so pathetic hehehe... tapi takpelah Timothy Dalton punya pasal, semua pun boleh. *wink*

How on earth...

I pun tak tau macam mana I boleh ter'sangkut' dengan dia ni. He's Timothy Dalton, my favourite James Bond (007). I think within this month I have watched The Living Daylights at Star Movies for 5 times at the very least. He is my number one James Bond, lepas tu baru Pierce Brosnan. Yang lain semua tak minat. Thing is, Tim Dalton cuma appear twice in James Bond movies. Itulah dianya. Yang kita suka, sekejap saja ada, yang tak suka itu berlambak-lambak.

Yes, I am well aware that dia sekarang dah tua, probably dah tak ada gigi pun. So what? I just like him in Bond movies. Especially in The Living Daylights. "Believe me, my interest in her is purely professional" - this line reminds me of a certain someone. I memang suka sangat Tim in The Living Daylights. Siapa yang dah tengok mesti tahulah. Memanglah Bond is a womaniser, but Timothy Dalton ni, style dia lain sikit. When he's mad at someone, he's mad. Tak kisahlah if it's someone he likes ke apa. Itu yang best. Sarcastic je tak pasal-pasal like someone tu kan. Hahaha. That, I find very challenging.

I do not like my man to agree with me all the time, nor would I like him to, you know, praise me constantly. I am not the kind of woman who needs to be reassured 24/7. See, itulah caranya seseorang itu menjadi 'tidak cerdik' lagi membosankan. And I do not want him to be by my side around the clock. Please, give me time to miss you, heheheh.

See, I bukan minat dia kerana dia handsome. That he is handsome is only secondary. It's his attitude that counts. ATTITUDE COMES FIRST. IF THE ATTITUDE S*CKS, THEN IT IS A BIG TIME LOSS.

Whatever it is.. alahai dia ni bestlah.. siapa belum tengok, I recommend tengoklah The Living Daylights and Licence To Kill.
